The Industrial Center, currently called the Center for Industrial Technological Design, began its work in 1971 in Cali, being the first and largest Training Center in the Valle region, where its facilities began at the FASA radiator plant, Comercial UNICO, with metalworking programs, construction, clothing, leather, electricity and some of the mobile, rural and urban programs.
Beginning in 2015, a new phase for the Center began, as it moved to a new headquarters in the District of Aguablanca, with improvements in its infrastructure, responding to the requirements of the community, having a greater geographic coverage of SENA in the city And generating a greater social impact, by being present in one of the areas with the highest concentration of population victims of the armed conflict in Cali.
In this new location, the Center for Industrial Technology Design, in addition to the offer of training programs, integrates other institutional services such as the Public Employment Service, Certification of Labor competencies, Articulation with technical media and Entrepreneurship.
To form integrally and with Quality, Human Talent able to design and develop Goods and Services with Pioneering Technologies and pertinent that contribute to the sustainable progress of productive processes in the local, regional and national Industry, having personnel committed to the practice of Values and Principles , Which respond to ethical guidelines as required by the Public Sector, for the good of the Community.
To be recognized for the year 2019 as a Consultant Source, in the Technological Design of Goods and Services, Regional, National and Internationally, for the development of Quality and Productivity that contributes to the Competitiveness of the Industrial Sector and related, since it recognizes in the environment , Technological Trends, Environmental Management and Occupational Health Fundamentals, to offer viable solutions.
